about

Hi! I like you already!
I wear a lot of hats. I'm guessing you do too.

I'm an author, speaker, and Bible teacher.

I'm a Certified Conversion Copywriter

I'm a leader of women and editor of words at (in)courage

Three loud and hungry boys call me Mom.

I'm wife to Chris (for 18 years), a daughter, sister, friend.

I'm a hiker, a reader, a life-long learner, and regular nap taker (amen?).

But the most important thing about me is that I'm a daughter of the King, friend to Jesus, and home to the Holy Spirit. These are hats I never take off. Loving God and being loved by Him influences all that I am and all that I do.

Also, it's not just a line when I say I'm glad you're here. I mean it. Really

Whether you came to this page to see if I'm a copywriter you want to hire, a speaker you want to book, an author you want to read, or just a friend you want to know, I'm glad you're here.

I'm eager to:
  • know your story
  • support your goals
  • infuse hope where you need it &
  • equip you to live out your God-given calling
THANK YOU for spending this moment with me.

Your Success Is My

happy place
If you are a business owner, entrepreneur, author, speaker, coach, or leader of any kind, you're in the right place!

Let me tell you more about my road to becoming a  Certified Conversion Copywriter...

I’ve been active in the online space for 14 years – from the early days of blogging and social media, to authoring multiple books & Bible studies, to speaking across the nation and editing, project managing, and leading for a large organization with an international reach. In all these roles I  have created a LOT of content. Good words that God has been faithful to use to reach, engage, encourage, and equip people.

But through becoming a certified conversion copywriter, I’ve learned that not all content is copy. What is copy? Copy is essentially words that sell. Content communicates a message, but copy connects that message directly to the potential buyer’s felt need and uses results-oriented language to lead to a conversion (e,g,. buy the book, sign up for the coaching, join the email list).

As a copywriter, I have been trained in the art and science of buying triggers, how to write email subject lines for the highest open rates, and a proven framework for sales pages and websites that will move people from interested followers to paying customers.

In other words, my main job (and delight) as a conversion copywriter is to clarify messaging, amplify offerings, and increase sales
